Grow Beds

Perhaps the most challenging aspect of building the rooftop Aquaponic system was the plant grow bed. Lumber is not readily available, and quite expensive. As with so many things in Cuba, knowing a good network of people can help one find most anything. We found nesstled in the tropical greenery, a carpenter with the materials that were needed to build the bed from the ground up.
