HugelKulture Construction

A HugelKulture (hill culture) is a type of raised bed garden that mimics nature like a forest by utilizing organic materials that are too big to go in a compost bin. A HugelKulture takes advantage of the decomposition process and provides moisture and nutrients to the garden plants. Because it is three-dimensional, a HugelKulture raised bed garden combines the multiple functions of rainwater harvesting and catchment as well as irrigation using no cistern, pumps, or PVC pipes. Done properly, there may be no need to ever water!
